there were 2 middle schools where i lived and there’s a saying about them:
“x middle school is full of dumbasses and the y middle school is full of assholes”

no one likes middleschool. People prey on each other as a form of emotional survival and superficial hierarchy BS. that ofc doesn’t make it right. People may mature but often times bullies remain the horrible unremarkable people they were then.
ugh i understand. everyone i know really hated middle school. i honestly hope that everyone’s that made fun of my name did grow up, but i came from a crappy suburb (in california of all places too)

and and i also agree with the teachers stopping bullying thing. ugh like all the decent good teachers at that school only taught honors and they normally didn’t have to deal with that bullshit because most of those kids knew they shouldn’t be making fun of people and were nice people
